It was a blissful Saturday morning at the Madera Speedway for the Second Wind 5K Marathon, benefitting Madera County Food Bank and Madera Rescue Mission. We want to thank everyone who came out! It was so exciting to watch the 5k and the Kids Mini Sprint!
Since its inception eight years ago, the Second Wind 5K has raised over $125,000!! With proceeds split evenly between the Madera Rescue Mission and the Madera County Food Bank, we’ve provided thousands of meals to our neighbors in need.
We are so thrilled with the number of runners we had this year! Congrats to all the FINISHERS of the 2022 Second Wind 5K and Kids Mini Sprint! Thank you all so much for coming out and giving your support. We appreciate it beyond belief! And a BIG thank you to our sponsors and our volunteers without whom none of this would be possible.
