Madera County Food Bank works hard to build partnerships, and we’re proud to have CalViva Health as one of our Community Partners.
CalViva Health is the largest local Medi-Cal Health Plan within Fresno, Kings, and Madera counties. CalViva Health provides affordable health care to over 386,000 members within these counties. They know that good health doesn’t just occur in the doctor’s office. It is a byproduct of the community and environment that we grow up within. That’s why this is the perfect partnership between CalViva Health and MCFB.
This year CalViva Health donated $30,000 to help support our fundraiser and provide a van that will go out into the community, pick up our smaller donations, and drop off pantry distributions. As one of our Community Partners, CalViva Health shares the same values as the Food Bank. This partnership is an example of true caring in action. We are grateful for their support, which brings meaningful change to people in need in Madera County.
