Are you in the mood to give back? Our communities rely on people like you to support the Food Bank. Volunteering is one of the best ways you can give back to our Madera Community. We have several programs that require the help of our volunteers.
EFAP – Volunteers come in every Monday and put together boxes for our commodities program.
Brown Bag – Volunteers come in every 3rd Monday of the month and put together brown bags for our senior citizens.
SNAPP – Volunteers help give away fruits and vegetables every Thursday at Town & Country Park form 6am – 9am.
CAP – Volunteers come once a month to an assigned location where we give out a truck load of food to the community.
Along with these great programs, we also have a great need for volunteers at our food giveaways. November 21 and December 19, we will be hosting a food giveaway here at the food bank to help those in need during the holidays.
If you’re interested in volunteering you can give our office a call at 559-674-1482 or fill out this form. Our volunteers must be 18 or older and have a valid form of identification. Once we get in touch, you’ll set up an appointment time to discuss what being a volunteer is like.
