Madera County Food Bank is here for those who need assistance, especially when they go through a rough patch and need that extra help until they can get back on their feet.
And this may come as a surprise, but we could always use that extra help, especially in our warehouse. Our warehouse is the lifeblood that keeps us churning to provide fresh foods. That’s why we’re glad to have people like Frank Gradillas, who brings his years of experience to manage our warehouse here at Madera County Food Bank. Frank is a huge asset, and we’re glad to have him working with us.
If you haven’t had the pleasure of getting to know Frank, continue reading as we asked him a few questions.
Hey Frank, thanks for sitting down with us. Can you tell us what your job involves at Madera County Food Bank?
I do all aspects of Warehouse Management. Inbound and outbound orders, inventory, and quality control. I also complete the scheduling, and I’m responsible for outside giveaways.

I was a Warehouse Coordinator, doing shipping, receiving, and forklift operating.

I love serving the community and Madera County.
What impact have you seen working at Madera County Food Bank?
The Food Bank has made a big impact on the people in need here in Madera County. I love helping my peers take the Food Bank to another level.
And we’re glad to be moving up to the next level. Do you have any stories about the people you’ve helped?
I have seen people come and leave the Food Bank and find jobs because they needed a little help to find confidence, which they found here at the Food Bank. When I see them working at the store, I feel proud and happy when they approach me and say thank you with a smile.
When you’re not working to help the people of Madera, what do you do on your days off?
On my days off, I rest, do yard work, and enjoy time with my spouse.
Thanks to the skill and knowledge of Frank Gradillas, we’re happy to say the Madera County Food Bank is stronger than ever. If you or someone you know needs food or resources or would like to volunteer, please contact us.
